The challenge.

Norvalda Quarterly is our own publication — we use it to think out loud about craft and growth, and as a test bed for the content engineering we sell to clients. If we can't make our own newsletter run efficiently, we have no business charging clients to build theirs.

─ 02 · Work

The work.

We built the production pipeline backwards from the publication moment. Drafts live in one Notion database; an automation generates the HTML email, the archive page, and the social cuts in a single pass. The design system that came out of this lives in our internal library and powers every content engagement we now ship for clients.

─ 03 · Outcome

The outcome.

Pipeline is in production and runs four issues a year on the same cadence. The design system extracted from it is now reusable across every client content engagement — that's the real outcome, not a print-run number. No paid distribution, no subscriber metrics published.
