─ 01 · Challenge
The challenge.
Most legal questions people actually have are small: an official letter they don't understand, a contract clause, a consumer dispute. Hiring a lawyer for those is expensive; searching the law yourself is slow and error-prone. We wanted a product that answers in the user's own language, cites the real statute instead of paraphrasing it, and lets you try it before registering. It's our own product under Vorantis OÜ — no client brief softened the quality bar.
─ 02 · Work
The work.
We built the assistant citation-first: answers reference the actual law article — a production example is VÕS § 308 — rather than a summary of it. Around the core chat sit four free legal calculators and document generators, a live contract-check demo that runs without registration, a blog of ~58 articles in four languages (ET / RU / EN / FI), and white-label plus multi-seat options for law firms. A public Quality Scorecard documents how we measure answer quality, methodology included. Stack: Flutter web, Supabase with ~35 edge functions, a Typst PDF worker on Railway, Stripe for billing, Sentry for errors. SEO from day one: 72-URL sitemap, hreflang across 7+ languages, three JSON-LD schemas.

The outcome.
Live and operating at advocat.ee. Freemium pricing holds: €0 free tier, Pro at €19.99/month, with counsel and representation tiers above it. The build took 760 commits between March and July 2026. Everything above is checkable in the product itself — including the contract demo, which runs before you ever create an account.
